Abbotshall Healthy Lifestyle Centre (HLC) is a neighbourhood hub in a creative corner of Catford. Our aim is to provide an environment that through physical activity, creativity and connection supports and celebrates healthy living for all in our community.

Abbotshall Community Garden is proud to have a thriving community garden alongside a dedicated urban wildlife corner and pond, home to a lively community of frogs. Our passionate gardening volunteers grow a wide variety of produce: from fruit and vegetables to herbs and hedges.We are always looking for new volunteers to help nurture and shape the gardens. Why not come along to learn new skills, stay active, and meet people in a welcoming and friendly environment?
Our playing field is one of the hidden gems of SE6. Tucked away behind rows of houses, we have a large enclosed outdoor space the size of three junior football pitches, complete with exercise frames, play equipment, slides and swings, as well as a popular muddy kitchen. There are activities running at all times, both indoors and outdoors, offering something for everyone whatever the weather.
Abbotshall has been host to all manner of events. From fireworks displays to summer fairs, schools sports days, fund raisers, neighbourhood camp outs, Christmas markets, clothes swaps, the Catford Literary Festival and birthday parties, halloween spooky discos and pizza nights. We love to see our community get together!
Abbotshall is the perfect place to celebrate: you can hire our facilities! Make your special occasion extra special, with plenty of room inside and out, we are the venue for you!
